Welcome, Elixis W!
Elixis W is a wheeled humanoid robot from Addverb Technologies, designed for intralogistics, manufacturing and warehouse environments. Standing 183 cm tall and weighing 75 kg, it combines a human shaped upper body with a mobile wheeled base suited to flat industrial floors. It can carry loads of up to 10 kg and travel at up to 5.4 km/h, supporting efficient movement across large facilities. The robot has two arms, five finger hands, 67 total degrees of freedom and 24 hand degrees of freedom. Its computing hardware combines an Intel Core i7 processor with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin, while high speed BLDC actuators and planetary gearboxes provide motion. Elixis W uses depth sensing, 3D LiDAR and 3D SLAM navigation, alongside a VLA enabled Physical AI software layer. Its Humanoid Guide Skill Score is 2 out of 10, indicating a preliminary platform, with navigation and manipulation each rated 1 out of 5.
Sorting goods is the demonstrated capability for Elixis W, aligning it with repetitive material handling tasks in warehouses and factories. Its wheeled base supports movement between storage areas, workstations and sorting zones, while its dual arms and dexterous hands provide a human compatible form factor for interacting with goods. The 10 kg payload capacity allows it to handle a range of packages, parts and tools during sorting workflows. This combination can help facilities organize incoming inventory, route items to designated locations and support outbound order preparation. The robot is built for collaboration with people, using compliant control and a two layer safety architecture based on STM32 safety microcontrollers. Its design emphasizes deployment in structured industrial spaces where mobility, manipulation and efficient goods flow are central requirements.
Elixis W is listed as a prototype and represents Addverb Technologies’ entry into wheeled humanoid robotics. Developed in India by the Noida based automation company, it launched at LogiMAT India 2026 in Mumbai as a made in India wheeled humanoid platform. The project extends Addverb’s focus on warehouse automation into a more general purpose robot form that can operate around existing human oriented infrastructure. Choosing wheels reflects the practical demands of factories and warehouses, where flat surfaces allow fast, energy efficient transport. Elixis W signals growing interest in humanoid upper body manipulation paired with mobile industrial bases, particularly for facilities seeking flexible automation that can work alongside employees and adapt to changing material handling needs.
