Description

Inspire Robots, a Chinese robotics company that builds dexterous manipulation systems, makes the RH56F1 hand. It follows the shape of a human hand, with five fingers and a thumb that rotates across a wide range. Because of this, the hand can switch between precise pinches and firm, full-hand grips. Engineers can also choose between tactile and non-tactile versions, plus EtherCAT control options, so the hand fits many different robot platforms. One standout feature is its passive payload rating of 30 kg, which is well above what similar hands in this class offer. As a result, the RH56F1 can support much heavier static loads than its active grip strength alone would suggest.

Eight tactile sensors cover the hand in the sensorized version, each reading force up to 30N. This lets the hand sense contact and adjust its grip, which helps when objects are fragile or oddly shaped. It closes in under a second and moves its fingers quickly, so it keeps pace in fast production lines. An all-metal, integrated skeleton gives the hand a sturdy, long-lasting build. Meanwhile, its compact size and multiple control interface options make it easy to pair with most robotic arms. Overall, the RH56F1 combines quick, sensitive grasping with a payload capacity built for demanding industrial tasks.
