Description
Cool Hand brings a new level of realism to robotic hand design. It combines bionics, mechatronics, and materials science into one compact, human-like mechanism. Six internal actuators drive the hand, so each finger moves on its own. As a result, users get smooth, natural finger motion instead of stiff, uniform grasps. Additionally, the thumb rotates in two directions, which opens up a much wider range of grips and gestures. Because of this flexibility, the hand can mimic many everyday human movements with ease.
