PNDbotics Adam humanoid climbs 1 meter box, post claims

PNDbotics’ full size Adam humanoid can climb onto a box 1 meter high, according to a LinkedIn post by Space and Technology. The account describes a sequence in which the robot analyzes the obstacle, plans its movements and places one foot on top before transferring its weight to climb up. This is Space and Technology’s account of the capability, rather than an announcement from PNDbotics itself.

The described maneuver centers on a substantial change in elevation, rather than ordinary stepping over an obstacle. Once a foot is on the box, the task requires the robot to support and raise its body while maintaining balance. Space and Technology attributes the climb to coordinated movement across Adam’s entire body, making weight transfer a central part of the claimed capability.

The post does not establish how the movement was controlled. Its description nevertheless makes a specific claim about the sequence: obstacle analysis and movement planning precede foot placement, followed by a weight shift and coordinated ascent onto the box.
