ROBOTIS launches Open Humanoid GYM for sim to real training
ROBOTIS has launched Open Humanoid GYM, an open source program for university and graduate students to develop behaviors for humanoid robots. According to Interesting Engineering, the initiative uses the Korean company’s AI Sapiens K1 platform and DYNAMIXEL components for simulation and physical testing.
Over one month, participants built humanoid motions in simulation and transferred them to physical robots. They created and deployed a range of full body behaviors, although the report does not identify the individual behaviors or provide performance results.
