Description
Y1 is a wheeled, folding, lifting humanoid robot from Tlibot (Sichuan Tianlian Robot Co., Ltd.), a robotics company based in Mianyang, China. Tlibot builds its own robot joints and arms, and Y1 brings those parts together on a mobile base. The robot pairs a humanlike upper body with two arms on a wheeled chassis. Notably, its body folds down and lifts back up as needed. As a result, it can work across a wide range of heights.
Y1 reaches far for its size. Its lifting torso travels 50 cm, and its total working range spans almost 2.5 meters. For example, it can grab items from low bins or reach high shelves without moving its base. In addition, each arm lifts up to 5 kg. Therefore, it suits handling tasks in warehouses, labs and service spaces.
The robot also navigates on its own. LiDAR guides it through spaces and scans for obstacles in its path. Meanwhile, it turns in place and handles small gaps and gentle slopes. An NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin computer runs its software directly on board. Moreover, it locates itself to within about 2 cm, which helps it return to precise work positions.

My mission, together with the team, is to help your organization understand the landscape, compare solutions, and move toward successful robot deployments.
Tlibot designed Y1 for long, flexible use. The battery lasts four to six hours, and a full charge takes about two and a half hours. Developers can program it through ROS 2 and an open API. It also offers Ethernet, HDMI and USB ports for extra devices. In short, Y1 gives teams a practical, developer-friendly mobile manipulator for real-world tasks.
