Despite its light weight, the hand carries heavy loads and still handles delicate items with care. For example, smart controls protect it from stalls, shaking and drops, and a special grip mode keeps hold of soft or shifting objects. In addition, BrainCo offers a Touch version with fingertip sensors that feel pressure, sideways force and even nearby objects before contact. The hand connects through common industrial interfaces and comes with Python and C++ software kits. Therefore, it suits humanoid robots, research labs, education and robot development.
