Description

Mornine is a full-size bipedal humanoid robot from AiMOGA, a robotics subsidiary of Chinese carmaker Chery. AiMOGA put it on open sale through its JD.com store in April 2026, with deliveries from late May. As a result, it became one of the first humanoids that anyone can order online. The robot stands 167 cm tall, close to an average adult. In fact, AiMOGA chose this size so it fits naturally into spaces built for people.

AiMOGA designed Mornine for customer-facing work. For example, it can greet visitors, give guided tours and assist in sales and training. It already works in car dealerships, where it can even open car doors on its own. Moreover, AiMOGA reports more than 300 robots deployed across over 30 countries. Chery’s dealer and service network helps it deliver and maintain these robots worldwide.

The robot talks and thinks with help from large AI models. It uses Chery’s own CheryGPT along with DeepSeek to understand questions and respond naturally. In addition, it speaks 11 languages, which suits international showrooms and venues. Meanwhile, LiDAR, depth cameras and ultrasonic sensors let it navigate on its own and avoid moving obstacles. Operators can also control it remotely through a VR headset.

Safety and certification set Mornine apart. In particular, it became the first humanoid to earn full EU CE certification for both hardware and software, verified by TÜV Rheinland. This covers machine safety, radio equipment and cybersecurity. Furthermore, AiMOGA trains its walking and movements in simulation before deploying them on real robots. In short, Mornine offers a certified, ready-to-work humanoid for businesses that serve customers.
