Description

Laborer M1 is a full-size bipedal humanoid robot from Glroad (Wuhan Glroad Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.), a technology company based in Wuhan, China. Glroad started in power-grid monitoring and precision motion control, and it now builds robots too. M1 stands 187 cm tall, taller than most adults. Glroad calls it the industry’s first 50 kg-class heavy-load humanoid. As its name suggests, it focuses on hard physical work.

Strength sets M1 apart. Its two arms can carry up to 50 kg together, far more than most humanoids. In addition, it keeps walking steadily while carrying heavy loads. It adjusts its posture in real time as the load shifts. Therefore, it suits jobs that involve lifting and moving heavy parts or goods.

Powerful joints and smart sensing make this possible. Glroad designed integrated joints that deliver high torque in short bursts while cushioning impacts and managing heat. Meanwhile, its seven-joint arms handle precise industrial tasks. A depth camera in its head helps it map its surroundings and recognize targets. As a result, M1 combines raw power with accurate control.

Glroad also built M1 with safety and real work in mind. The robot uses hardware-level safety backups, diagnoses its own faults and brakes within milliseconds in an emergency. Moreover, Glroad tested it in real industrial conditions and offers open development interfaces. Companies can also request customization for their own industry. In short, M1 offers a strong, safe humanoid for demanding industrial tasks.
