Description

Laborer C1 is a compact bipedal humanoid robot from Glroad (Wuhan Glroad Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.), a technology company based in Wuhan, China. Glroad unveiled it on August 19, 2026, at the World Robot Conference in Beijing, as part of its new “Laborer” robot family. C1 stands 138 cm tall and weighs just 38 kg. As a result, it moves easily through lobbies, halls and crowds. While its big sibling M1 handles heavy loads, C1 focuses on service and interaction.

C1 shows impressive athletic skills for its size. For example, it can run, box and even perform backflips. Its smooth motion control also makes its gestures graceful and humanlike. Meanwhile, it walks quietly and steadily, even when many people are around. Therefore, it fits busy public spaces where both safety and presence matter.

The robot greets and guides people on its own. It can wave hello, bow, lead guests to the elevator or front desk and say goodbye politely. In addition, smart navigation and voice interaction let it answer common questions about check-in, breakfast, parking and nearby places. Businesses can customize its scripts and holiday greetings. Moreover, it can dance and warm up crowds at events.
