XYZ
DEUX is XYZ’s semi-humanoid service robot for everyday spaces like stores, offices, and hospitals. It combines a 360° swerve-drive base, an adjustable 90–155 cm height, and dual 7-DoF arms with proprietary three-finger hands, and it learns real tasks through the paired Glove X device and Brain X intelligence.

Description
XYZ builds DEUX, a semi-humanoid service robot made to share everyday spaces with people. The company designed it around four core ideas: user-centered design, everyday companionship, real-world data collection, and continuously evolving intelligence. DEUX coexists naturally with users across stores, offices, hospitals, and homes. It rides on a 360° omnidirectional swerve-drive base, so it moves freely and slips through tight spaces. Its height also adjusts from 90 cm to 155 cm, which lets it meet a task at the right level.
The robot keeps its hardware purposeful. It uses two 7-DoF arms paired with proprietary three-finger dexterous hands, giving 32 degrees of freedom in total. A one-DoF lift raises and lowers the body, while the swerve-drive base handles movement. XYZ also gave DEUX a clean, user-centered exterior that connects with people rather than intimidating them. As a result, it fits comfortably into human-facing settings. The build stays manageable too, at 25 kg for the robot and 60 kg as a full system.
DEUX gets smarter through use, and that loop defines XYZ’s approach. A paired device called Glove X collects data one-to-one while a person performs real tasks. DEUX then feeds that data into Brain X, its behavior-model and agentic-AI system. Consequently, the robot keeps learning and improving from real-world experience. This pairing of a data-collection glove with an evolving on-robot brain sits at the heart of how XYZ commercializes robotics for daily life.

I’m Olivia, Humanoid Analyst at Humanoid.Guide
My mission, together with the team, is to help your organization understand the landscape, compare solutions, and move toward successful robot deployments.
XYZ ships DEUX as a practical, developer-ready platform rather than a lab demo. It supports ROS 2, Python, and a dedicated DEUX Controller, so integrators can build on it directly. The arms deliver 5.5 kg per side, or 11 kg working together, which suits serving, tidying, and light handling. Still, DEUX targets service environments over heavy industry. In short, XYZ built an approachable, always-learning helper for the real spaces where people work and live.
