Description
Booster T2 comes from Booster Robotics, a Chinese robotics company known for its earlier T1 platform. The T2 serves as the company’s new flagship, built for developers and researchers who want a serious embodied AI platform. It brings stronger compute, added sensors, and more advanced movement than its predecessor. As a result, teams can push further into perception, manipulation, and real-world task execution.
The robot senses its surroundings through cameras placed in its head and waist, so it builds a clear picture of the space around it. It doesn’t just observe that space; it interprets it and reacts in real time. This lets the T2 handle scenarios that shift and change, rather than following a fixed script. Meanwhile, its onboard compute keeps that response loop fast and consistent.
Booster built the T2 to handle real physical work, not just demonstrations. Its arms carry meaningful payload, and its joints use industrial-grade bearings for durability. Depending on the configuration, it uses either a simple gripper or a fully dexterous hand for finer manipulation. Therefore, the T2 can move from basic pick-and-place work to more delicate, hands-on tasks.
