Description

Allegro Hand V6 F is a five-finger dexterous robotic hand from Wonik Robotics, a robotics company in South Korea. For years, the Allegro Hand has been one of the most popular hands in robotics research labs worldwide. However, earlier Allegro models used only four fingers. The V6 F adds a fifth finger, so it can match human hand shapes and use human tools more naturally. In addition, it is over 20% smaller than earlier Allegro hands, which makes it easier to fit on humanoid robots.

The V6 F also brings “full-hand sensing” to the Allegro line. Pressure sensors sit in the fingertips, finger joints and palm, and colored lights in the fingertips show how hard each one is pressing. As a result, researchers can collect rich contact data to train and test AI models. Moreover, users can switch between several control modes, from soft and compliant to high-force grasping. Therefore, it suits physical AI research, humanoid development and advanced manipulation studies.
