Description
AGIBOT built the A3 for the stage. The Shanghai company calls it a silicon-based star, and the name fits. This full-size humanoid stands 173 cm tall and weighs only 55 kg. It throws punches, lands somersaults, and strings together mid-air kicks. AGIBOT first showed the robot in February 2026, then shipped the first units to customers two months later. Since then, the A3 has become the company’s headline product for entertainment work.
Most humanoid robots chase factory jobs. The A3 goes a different way. AGIBOT aimed it at theme parks, museums, brand launches, retail floors, and live shows. The robot dances, greets visitors, guides tours, and holds a conversation without a wake word. A curved screen on its head carries its expressions. Meanwhile, an eight-microphone array picks up speech from every direction, even in a noisy hall. Shoulder sensors also let it react when someone taps it.

Operators like the A3 because it travels well. The robot folds into a wheeled case, climbs out on its own, and fits in an SUV. One person can set it up. Two hot-swappable batteries run for roughly ten hours, and a swap takes about ten seconds. As a result, a single unit can work a full day. AGIBOT also fits UWB positioning as standard, so a hundred robots hold formation without extra hardware.

Buyers should know what the standard A3 leaves out. It carries no LiDAR and no depth cameras. Its hands are silicone shells rather than gripping tools. The robot therefore performs, interacts, and moves, but it does not pick, sort, or assemble. AGIBOT sells other models for that work. Meanwhile, researchers and universities can open the interfaces and build on the platform themselves. For round-the-clock deployment, AGIBOT introduced a separate A3 Ultra in July 2026.
