Description
Isaac GR00T N1.7 is an open vision-language-action model from NVIDIA for humanoids and other robots. NVIDIA first showed it at GTC in March 2026, and the weights reached Hugging Face in April. The model has about three billion parameters. It pairs a Cosmos reasoning brain with a fast motion module, so it can think about a task and then act smoothly. Because it comes with a commercial license, companies can ship it in real products.
The model gives robots finer finger control for small parts and other contact-heavy work. NVIDIA trained it on more than 20,000 hours of first-person human video. As a result, dexterity improved steadily as the team added more human data. It already runs on robots such as the Unitree G1, the YAM two-arm setup and AgiBot Genie 1. Developers can also fine-tune it for their own robot with LeRobot-format data. NVIDIA offers the weights on Hugging Face and the code on GitHub, and it supports Jetson boards on the robot itself.
