Description

The eHand-6 is a low-cost, five-finger industrial dexterous hand from Hitbot (慧灵科技), a Shenzhen-based maker of robot arms and electric grippers. Hitbot is part of the Xiaomi ecosystem and has long focused on making automation parts more affordable. It launched the eHand-6 in May 2025 at just $420. As a result, it became one of the cheapest industrial dexterous hands on the market. Each finger has three knuckles, so the hand can copy human grasping, holding and pushing motions.

Hitbot keeps costs low by building the key parts itself. For example, it designs the tiny electric actuators, the drivers and the control software in-house. In addition, it reuses proven modules from its grippers and robot arms. The hand grips firmly enough to lift about 5 kg, and buyers can add optional touch sensors for finer force control. Therefore, it suits factories, labs and robot makers who want a dexterous hand without a high price tag.
