Description

TeleHand is a five-finger dexterous robotic hand from Joyson Electronics, a major Chinese automotive supplier based in Ningbo. Joyson unveiled it at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai in July 2026. It is the company’s first fully in-house dexterous hand. The TeleHand Pro combines three drive methods inside its palm: direct drive, tendons and linkages. As a result, it pairs precise, fast control with soft, compliant grasping in a lightweight hand.

Touch plays a big role in TeleHand’s design. Joyson’s own electronic skin senses force in three directions and can even detect objects before contact. In addition, the company developed tiny custom actuators that pack more torque into less space. Joyson brings its long experience in car electronics and mass production to robotics. Therefore, it aims to supply reliable, affordable hands for industrial precision work and service robots alike.
