LinkedIn post claims PrimeBOT targets 120,000 robots a year

In a LinkedIn post, Peter Kappes said PrimeBOT’s factory is intended to produce one humanoid robot every 2.5 minutes, with targets of 10,000 units a month and 120,000 a year. The post came from Kappes as an individual, not from a PrimeBOT company account, so the figures should be treated as an unverified third party claim rather than confirmed production data.

The monthly and annual figures are internally consistent, but the claimed 2.5 minute cadence cannot be assessed without an operating schedule. Kappes provided no factory location, start date, commissioning status, current run rate or evidence that a production line has reached the stated speed. The post also contained no robot specifications or pricing.

Kappes said the planned robots would target homes, education, developers and companionship. He also wrote that he had yet to find a person with a humanoid robot companion. That comment leaves the post’s consumer framing particularly thin: it identifies intended markets, but not customers, orders or deployments. Until PrimeBOT supplies direct documentation, the 120,000 unit figure is best read as a capacity target attributed to Kappes, not achieved output.
