PuduAgent

Pudu Robotics launched PuduAgent in May 2026 as a general-purpose embodied agent platform for the physical world. The company built it on top of PuduFM 1.0, its own robot foundation model. Think of the pairing this way: PuduFM acts as the brain, while PuduAgent serves as the body that carries that brain and directs what it can do. Together they deliver the strategy Pudu has pursued for years, which the company calls “One Brain, Multiple Embodiments.” In practice, that means different robot forms share the same underlying intelligence rather than each needing its own.

Pudu designed the platform for developers worldwide, and it draws a deliberate parallel to the mobile era. The company argues that iOS and Android unlocked the mobile internet by turning messy hardware into standard APIs. Robotics needs the same shift, so PuduAgent abstracts complex robot capabilities into modules developers can assemble. As a result, teams build applications instead of reinventing the basics each time. The platform uses a three-layer architecture: a system layer, a capability layer, and a safety layer. Meanwhile, real-world data from deployed robots flows back into the same architecture, which keeps the intelligence improving at scale.
