Description
Voxel is a home humanoid robot from Tuesday Labs, a robotics lab and design studio in New York City. Founder and CEO Rosalind Shinkle previously engineered the Spot robot arm’s manipulation software at Boston Dynamics. The company calls Voxel “a gentleman in training.” It has a boxy yellow head with square LED eyes, colorful body panels, two arms and Z-shaped legs. In short, it looks more like an animated character than a typical robot.
Voxel’s main job is keeping a home tidy. For example, it puts things back where they belong and resets a room just the way you like it. It also fetches items such as books, drinks or keys and brings them straight to you. In addition, it remembers where it last saw your phone or wallet, so it can help you find them. It even waters your plants on a regular schedule.
Personality sits at the heart of the design. Tuesday Labs works with illustrators, character designers and animators who have created beloved screen characters. As a result, Voxel communicates through expressive lights, sound and body language. Meanwhile, the team chooses every surface, material and point of contact for life inside a home. The company believes the best technology should need very little attention.

Voxel is not on sale yet, but you can reserve one. A fully refundable $200 deposit holds a spot in the first production run. Moreover, every Series-1 unit carries a production number assigned in reservation order, along with an edition certificate. Tuesday Labs plans to start shipping in 2028. Early owners also join a “Founding Series” community with access to home-specific development and events.
