Description
GigaBrain-0.7 is the newest robot foundation model from GigaAI, a Chinese embodied AI company. It links three parts into one system: a vision-language brain, an action generator and a world model. The team calls the new world model layer System-3. It lets the robot preview likely outcomes before it moves. GigaAI trained the model on more than 37,000 hours of mixed data, including human demos, simulation and real robot logs. As a result, the company reports clear gains over its earlier GigaBrain-0 models and over the open π0.5 model.
With this model, robots can plan multi-step chores and follow spoken-style instructions in homes and factories. For example, GigaAI shows one unbroken run of more than ten tasks lasting over 20 minutes. The same base model works on the company’s Maker H01 wheeled humanoid and on the AgileX PiPER dual-arm robot. Developers can download a 3.5B base checkpoint from Hugging Face under an Apache-2.0 license. GigaAI also uses the model to show that its large data pipeline can scale. In addition, it ties the model closely to its own GigaWorld world model.
