Description
RealBot-L2 is a full-size wheeled humanoid robot from RealMan Robotics, a Beijing company known for its ultra-lightweight robotic arms. RealMan unveiled it in July 2026 at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai. The robot rolls on a two-wheel base and has a humanlike torso with two arms. Notably, its body can rise and lower by 30 cm. As a result, it can work anywhere from floor level up to 2.1 meters high.
RealMan designed L2 for home service, retail guidance and data collection. For example, its long reach lets it take items from top shelves or pick things up from the floor. Its arms each lift up to 5 kg, which suits everyday handling tasks. In addition, users can quickly swap between a two-finger gripper and a five-finger hand. Therefore, one robot can handle both simple pick-and-place jobs and finer work.
L2 also works remotely through RealMan’s teleoperation network. At WAIC, an operator in Beijing controlled an L2 in Shanghai to brew tea, with only milliseconds of delay. Meanwhile, RealBot robots have already worked in a real restaurant kitchen, pulling noodles and preparing skewers. Every task they perform also produces data that helps improve RealMan’s AI models. Over time, this data loop aims to make the robots more autonomous.

My mission, together with the team, is to help your organization understand the landscape, compare solutions, and move toward successful robot deployments.
Safety and reliability guide the whole design. The robot yields gently on contact and avoids moving obstacles, backed by a triple safety system. Moreover, RealMan’s in-house joint modules reach a mean time between failures of 50,000 hours. A battery lasts about six hours, and a full recharge takes about one hour. In short, RealBot-L2 offers a dependable, flexible helper for homes, shops and data teams.
