Description

E1 is a compact humanoid robot from Noetix Robotics, a Beijing company founded by researchers from Tsinghua and Zhejiang universities. Noetix designed it as a taller, more capable version of its sporty N2 robot. E1 stands 136 cm tall, about the height of a child. Compared with N2, it adds extra joints in the waist and arms. As a result, it balances strong leg performance with more useful upper-body skills.

E1 moves with surprising athletic ability. For example, it won the standing long jump at the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games with a 1.25-meter jump. Noetix’s robots also took second and fourth place in the 2025 Beijing humanoid half marathon. In addition, E1 can run at over 3.5 meters per second. Noetix trains its movements with reinforcement learning, so it walks steadily indoors and outdoors.

The robot also talks and interacts with people. A built-in voice module wakes up when someone says “Hello, Little E.” Moreover, it supports large language models for natural conversation. E1 even performed at China’s 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala with new dexterous hands and a lifting neck. Therefore, it suits guided tours, home use, live shows and education.

My mission, together with the team, is to help your organization understand the landscape, compare solutions, and move toward successful robot deployments.

Noetix keeps E1 affordable and open to developers. Every version includes interfaces for secondary development, unlike many rivals. Meanwhile, the EDU version adds an NVIDIA Jetson computer, an open SDK and options for dexterous hands and LiDAR. A quick-release battery makes swaps fast between sessions. In short, E1 offers an accessible, athletic humanoid for research, education and entertainment.
