Description
4NE1 Gen 3.5 is the latest full-size humanoid from NEURA Robotics, a German company from Metzingen. NEURA first showed this generation to the public at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The robot builds on earlier 4NE1 versions, yet it brings a fresh look and smarter software. In fact, Studio F.A. Porsche helped shape its body. That studio also designed the iconic Porsche 911. As a result, 4NE1 looks sleek and approachable rather than purely industrial.
NEURA built 4NE1 to work alongside people in factories, warehouses and, later, private homes. The robot moves materials, carries objects and supports manufacturing jobs. Moreover, it can talk with people and follow spoken instructions. Its artificial sensor skin notices people nearby before any contact happens. Therefore, 4NE1 can share space with workers without a safety cage around it.
Behind the scenes, 4NE1 relies on NEURA’s cognitive robotics approach. The robot uses NVIDIA Isaac GR00T, an open foundation model for humanoid skills. Additionally, NEURA trains new behaviors in simulation before it moves them to real robots. Through the Neuraverse platform, one robot can learn a skill and share it with others. Developers can also program 4NE1 with Python, C++ or ROS 2.

For now, 4NE1 Gen 3.5 is open for reservations only. NEURA expects the first deliveries at the end of 2026. Meanwhile, the company keeps refining the design ahead of release. For people who want a smaller robot, NEURA also offers the 4NE1 Mini. Overall, 4NE1 Gen 3.5 shows how a European company plans to move humanoids from trade shows into real workplaces.
