Description
Dex is an industrial humanoid robot from Richtech Robotics, a Nasdaq-listed company based in Las Vegas. Richtech unveiled it in October 2025 as its first mobile humanoid. The company already runs more than 450 robot deployments across the US. Dex builds on that experience to bring a new kind of worker to factories. In particular, it aims to boost productivity and safety on the factory floor.
Dex comes in two versions. The mobile version rolls on a wheeled base and moves around changing work areas. Meanwhile, the stationary version stays in one spot and runs around the clock on continuous power. Both versions use two arms with swappable end effectors. As a result, Dex can switch between grippers, clamps, suction cups and special tools.

Several cameras and sensors help Dex see and understand its surroundings. For example, it detects obstacles, recognizes objects and makes decisions in real time. An NVIDIA Jetson Thor computer powers its onboard AI. In addition, Richtech trains Dex in NVIDIA’s simulation tools before it works in the real world. This approach speeds up deployment and makes testing safer.
