Description
LinkerArm A7 is a seven-axis robotic arm from LinkerBot, a Beijing-based company known for dexterous robot hands. LinkerBot built it to carry its own Linker Hand series. As a result, the arm and hand work as one system rather than as separate parts. The company designed reach, payload and dexterity together from the very start. This approach gives developers a ready-made platform for human-like manipulation.
Seven joints let the arm move much like a human arm. For this reason, it can reach the same point in several different poses. It can also bend around obstacles and hold its hand at tricky angles. In addition, the arm stays light enough for teams to mount and move it easily. Meanwhile, compact joint modules keep its motion smooth and quick.
LinkerBot leads the market for high-DoF dexterous hands. The company says it holds more than 80% of that global segment. Its hands range from simple six-DoF models to highly articulated research hands. Therefore, A7 users can pick the hand that best fits their task. LinkerBot also offers teleoperation tools and a large skill library for training robots.

Researchers and developers use the A7 for embodied AI and data collection. For example, LinkerBot’s dexterous systems have folded dumplings and threaded needles in demos. The arm also suits sorting, assembly and handling work in labs and light industry. Furthermore, a Python SDK makes it easy to program and control. In short, LinkerArm A7 turns LinkerBot’s dexterous hands into a complete manipulation platform.
