Description
Elixis-W is a wheeled humanoid robot from Addverb, an automation company based in Noida, India. It launched at LogiMAT India 2026 in Mumbai as India’s first made-in-India wheeled humanoid. Addverb designed it for factories and warehouses. The robot combines a human-like upper body with a mobile wheeled base. As a result, it moves quickly and efficiently across long industrial routes.
Addverb chose wheels over legs for practical reasons. Most factories and warehouses have flat floors, so wheels make the robot easier to deploy. In addition, the wheeled base lets it travel faster and carry heavier loads than its walking sibling, Elixis. Two arms with five-finger dexterous hands let it handle packages, tools and parts. Meanwhile, depth cameras and 3D LiDAR help it map its surroundings and move on its own.
The robot takes on repetitive, risky and physically demanding jobs. For example, it can pick, sort, transport and help with assembly on the shop floor. Its AI system supports learning, reasoning and adapting to changing processes. Moreover, compliant control and a layered safety system help it work safely near people. Therefore, workers can shift their focus to supervision and problem-solving.

Addverb plans a careful rollout for Elixis-W. First, the company will deploy it in limited, closely supervised pilot projects. This approach lets teams prove its safety and reliability before wider use. Addverb already works with major clients such as Reliance, PepsiCo and DHL. In short, Elixis-W marks India’s practical entry into the global industrial humanoid market.
