Description

NORI L3 is a compact mobile humanoid robot developed by NORI Robotics for research, education, and AI development. Instead of focusing on industrial-scale automation, it gives developers an affordable platform for testing robotic applications and embodied AI. As a result, universities, startups, and robotics enthusiasts can experiment with advanced manipulation at a much lower cost.

The robot combines a wheeled mobile base with two robotic arms, allowing it to navigate indoor environments while performing everyday manipulation tasks. Moreover, its integrated cameras, LiDAR, and audio system help it understand its surroundings and interact with people naturally. Users can also train and manage the robot through the dedicated NORI Lab application.

NORI Robotics designed the L3 to support modern AI software and language models. Developers can build autonomous workflows, voice-controlled assistants, and vision-based applications without designing hardware from scratch. Consequently, the platform serves as a practical starting point for robotics research, AI prototyping, and service robot development.

I’m Olivia, Humanoid Analyst at Humanoid.Guide

My mission, together with the team, is to help your organization understand the landscape, compare solutions, and move toward successful robot deployments.

Although NORI L3 cannot replace large industrial robots, it handles many everyday manipulation tasks effectively. It can fold clothes, load or unload a dishwasher, and assist with household automation projects. Therefore, the robot bridges the gap between educational robots and more expensive commercial humanoid systems.
