Description
Isaac 1 comes from Weave Robotics, a startup based in San Francisco. The company designed and built the robot specifically for home use. Unlike many robots built for factories, Isaac 1 works inside living rooms, bedrooms, and laundry rooms. Consequently, its makers focused on comfort, safety, and everyday practicality rather than industrial strength.
The robot rolls on a wheeled base, which keeps it stable while it works. A soft fabric shell wraps around its frame, giving it a friendly look instead of a hard metallic one. Owners can swap or remove these shells to match their home’s style. Meanwhile, its torso can extend to human height or collapse down small, so it tucks away when it isn’t needed.
Isaac 1 handles two main jobs around the house: laundry and daily tidying. It finds dirty clothes, empties hampers, folds items, and puts them away. It also makes beds, straightens pillows and blankets, and returns toys and shoes to their place. Therefore, families can come home to rooms that already feel lived-in and cared for.

Weave Robotics built Isaac 1 to work mostly on its own, stepping in with remote assistance only when a task needs extra help. Owners control it through a companion app, so they can schedule cleanups or request them on demand. The robot also improves over time through software updates. As a result, it keeps gaining new capabilities well beyond what it offers on day one.
