Description
The IH2 Azzurra offers a compact, human-sized robotic hand that brings flexible, anthropomorphic grasping to robots. It embeds actuators, control electronics, and sensors all within its palm and fingers. Thanks to its under-actuated fingers, the hand adapts to object shapes during a grasp. This design enables robust and stable grips whether the robot picks up a small tool or a larger object.

Beyond strength, IH2 Azzurra emphasizes precision and versatility. It supports many grip types — cylindrical, lateral, precision grips — and can detect when it contacts or holds an object, thanks to built-in force and position sensors. Thus it fits well in research, humanoid robotics, or human-machine interaction settings where natural, human-like manipulation and safe handling matter.
