Description
The FLLEX hand offers a compact, human-like design with five fully articulated fingers. Its 12 active degrees of freedom give each finger natural, fluid motion. Specifically, the thumb, index, and middle fingers have three independent joints, while the ring and little fingers use a combination of underactuated flexions and coupled ab/adduction. This arrangement allows the hand to perform gripping, pinching, and precise object manipulation effectively. Furthermore, its impact-absorbing actuators help the hand adapt to external forces, making it safer and more durable for repeated tasks.
