Description
DEEP Robotics DR02 is an industrial-grade, full-size humanoid robot built for outdoor and all-weather deployment. It is the first humanoid claimed to have IP66 full-body waterproof/dustproof protection, enabling operation under rain, dust, humidity, and other harsh conditions.
DEEP Robotics DR02 can operate across a wide temperature span (–20 °C to +55 °C), bridging indoor factory use and outdoor environments seamlessly.
It features a modular, quick-detach design (arms, legs, forearms are replaceable), supporting simplified maintenance and long-term serviceability.
On the computing side, DR02 is reportedly endowed with 275 TOPS processing power and an advanced multi-sensor stack (LiDAR, depth sensors, wide-angle cameras) for perception, mapping, and real-time control.
Motion performance claims include walking at 1.5 m/s under normal conditions and sprinting up to 4 m/s, climbing slopes of 20°, scaling steps or stairs, and lifting payloads (each arm up to 10 kg).
Overall, the DR02 is positioned as a bridge between lab humanoids and field-ready robots, targeting domains like security, inspection, logistics, industrial tasks in challenging environments.
