Description
Unitree has unveiled H2, a full‑size humanoid robot positioned as its most lifelike model to date. In Unitree’s launch video the H2 performs dance and martial‑arts sequences, then walks a fashion runway alongside a human, signaling a push toward expressive, humanlike motion and public‑facing deployments.
H2 is about 180 cm tall and ~70 kg taller and heavier than the company’s earlier H1, giving it human‑scale reach and presence. The promo emphasizes a bionic face and clothing to increase realism compared with prior industrial‑style shells.
The H2 has ~31 degrees of freedom (DoF) across the body, an uptick aimed at smoother, more humanlike arm, wrist, and ankle motion versus Unitree’s previous generation. That increased articulation is what enables the fluid choreography shown in the reveal.
Unitree normally offer their robots in several configurations where the price increases with motor control access and AI features.
Editors take: With the launch of the H2, Unitree has introduced a new model in their top of the line humanoid offering. The world is watching closely what the new hand design brings in terms of dexterity and value added work done by the new humanoid.
