Description
ROBOTERA’s versatile humanoid robot, ROBOTERA STAR1, stands 171 cm tall and boasts 55 degrees of freedom (DOF) across its structure. The legs offer 12 DOF for superior movement, while the waist includes 3 DOF, enhancing flexibility and stability. With joint capabilities reaching up to 400 Nm of torque and peak rotational speeds of 25 rad/s, ROBOTERA STAR1 demonstrates impressive strength and mobility.
In real-world outdoor conditions, ROBOTERA STAR1 achieves a top running speed of 3.6 m/s, setting a world record for bipedal robots. The neck, with 2 DOF, enables natural, human-like movements, enhancing its ability to perform tasks requiring precise head positioning.
The robot’s upper limbs feature advanced robotic arms with 7 DOF each, paired with the ROBOTERA XHAND1—a five-fingered, dexterous hand equipped with 12 active DOF and full direct drive. This setup allows ROBOTERA STAR1 to carry out complex and highly accurate operations with ease.
Equipped with ROBOTERA’s proprietary end-to-end AI model, ERA-42, STAR1 can walk, run, and jump stably on a variety of challenging terrains. It also adapts quickly to new tasks, using minimal data to master over 100 precision operations, significantly expanding its potential for commercial use across numerous industries.
For instance, in automotive assembly and 3C manufacturing, ROBOTERA STAR1 can handle tasks such as precision assembly, quality checks, packaging, and material transport. In logistics and warehousing, it can accurately identify items, precisely grasp and move goods, and navigate complex warehouse environments while avoiding obstacles. In commercial settings like offices and hotels, the robot can greet guests, guide them to specific locations, and offer information services.
